Professional Background
Heather has called Sidney home since 1992, bringing decades of experience in finance, compliance, and business operations to her clients across Southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands. For more than thirty years, she has built deep expertise in financial oversight and regulatory compliance, work shaped in part by her long career in aviation where precision and accountability were essential to keeping organizations on course both financially and operationally. Her experience is strengthened by owning and operating a storefront in downtown Sidney, building a successful consulting practice focused on organizational compliance and quality systems, and currently serving as a Director for a local nonprofit.
Local Expertise
With family roots stretching back generations in Victoria, Heather’s connection to the region runs deep. She’s not just a bookkeeper; she’s a neighbour, a volunteer, and an active part of the local community, familiar to many across the region.
Outside the office, Heather is firmly anchored in Sidney’s boating community. A lifelong boater, she has owned and maintained her own powerboats for nearly thirty‑five years and now co‑owns a sailboat, which she races with the fleet at the local Yacht Club and in regional regattas. Her deep connection to the water and to the people who call these shores home shapes the thoughtful, detail‑driven approach she brings to her bookkeeping work.
